Description: Sing Out for Bristol Pride 2019

In partnership with St Georges, Sing Out Bristol are proud to present our first ever Pride fundraiser.

Please join us as we play host to some amazing acts as well as performing songs from our current repertoire.

These are the acts appearing alongside us,

Our very own Bashema performs an eclectic mix of music ranging from her own self penned compositions to jazz, blues and pop covers.

She regularly plays at summer festivals, including the Bristol Harbour and Balloon Festivals, and appeared at Pride In London, on the cabaret stage, an event we live streamed on our Facebook page.

This year, you can also catch
Bashema on the new Diva Stage at Bristol Pride.

    The Great Sea Choir

Founded in 2012 by this amazing group have risen from a small group of singers to a forty-strong choir, performing their unique selection of a cappella, contemporary-folk arrangements.

    Airbus Choir

As the name suggests, this is a workplace choir, based in the Filton Airbus site, led by music director, David Ogden  They’ve been going since 2016 and have performed at various charity events and have already played St Georges this year, at the Raise The Roof event in January.

    Francis Strange

Another member of our choir, Francis is an accomplished accordionist, who regularly plays accompanying music to silent film showings in Bristol and beyond, bringing the movies to life in the way they were always intended.

    Little Sing Out

Little Sing Out (LSO) is a spin-off choir from the main Sing Out Bristol ensemble. Although there is no audition process for the main choir, we do require auditions for LSO; as there are more challenging pieces to perform..  This means we’re able to play smaller functions and venues, such as weddings and birthdays, where the whole choir would be too large.

All proceeds raised on the night will go towards helping keep Bristol Pride free in 2019.
