18.11–21.11 Emma Salokoski Voices UK Tour

Exquisite Finnish female acapella meets meets inimitable spooky madness, when Emma Salokoski Voices teams up with A Fistful of Spookies for a short UK tour on 18.11-21.11.

On the English tour, Emma Salokoski Voices will present a selection of soul and pop songs as well as new compositions in Finnish, Swedish and English. The collaboration between Emma Salokoski Voices and A Fistful of Spookies began in 2019 with a joint concert in Helsinki.

Emma Salokoski Voices is a vocal ensemble, female choir and collective that makes music with curiosity and passion. The group consists of professional singers as well as devoted amateurs. Some of the group’s recent projects include Body Positive!, a modern musical cabaret which they composed and created, Voices & Noises, a project in which they explored the possibilities of distorting the choir sound with electronics and many collaborations with musicians, dancers and visual artists.

The artistic leader Emma Salokoski is an awarded and well-known Finnish vocalist, composer and musical chameleon who has toured actively for twenty years and released ten albums with different jazz and pop groups.
