An RSS feed (or news feed) is a means by which you can stay informed about what's going on at Sing Out Bristol without having to regularly visit the website.
To make use of an RSS feed, you need some "feed reader" (or "aggregator") software. Most modern web browsers have feed readers built in.
The RSS feeds for Sing Out Bristol are listed below...
As Captain Sir Tom Moore made 100 laps of his garden to mark his 100th birthday, he became a national hero for his support of the NHS. Will you join us and help Captain Tom’s legacy live on?
We're calling on you to take on your very own version of his 100 challenge with your colleagues. You have the chance to be part of a national event and make a huge impact on your community just like Captain Tom.
The Captain Tom 100 challenge for your local NHS in five simple steps:
1.Choose your 100
Go it alone or team up with your colleagues - whatever you choose to do is up to you! You could juggle for 100 seconds, walk 100 km collectively, bake 100 cakes, pick up 100 pieces of litter, or do 100 good deeds for others.
2. Start your fundraising
Set up your JustGiving fundraising page here. Make sure to tell people what your 100 is, and why supporting your local NHS in Bristol is important to you.
3. Share your journey
Share your challenge with friends, colleagues and family and ask them to sponsor you. Don't forget to check if your employer does matched-giving.
4.Capture your success
You can stream your activity live on social media, post about it using #CaptainTom100 or track your activity on an app like Strava.
5.Enjoy the experience!
While your 100 challenge is a chance to inspire others and support your local NHS in Bristol, it's also the biggest opportunity to have fun! We are excited to see what you come up with and the smiles you'll create along the way.
Whatever you choose to do, you’ll support the one million patients and 12,000 staff at your local hospitals in Bristol - and we'll be right there alongside you to support you and cheer you on.
If you have any questions or would like to talk through some ideas, please do give me a call.
With very best wishes
