Happy 10th birthday Gurt Lush Choir!
Following the success of the 'Part One' concerts this summer, we finish celebrating our 10th birthday in 2019 with two final concerts this autumn, reviving many of our ‘Gurtest’ Hits.

The concerts will also feature our impossibly handsome little brother, Bristol MAN Chorus.

The final concerts are:
26 Oct. (Sat), St Albans, 7.30pm.
3 Nov. (Sun), Holy Nativity Church, Knowle, 3pm.

The repertoire for the second birthday concert includes hits from the Beatles and the Monkees; a Bulgarian folk song about a red faced old man wearing a skewed cap; a protest song that was famously performed by the Windborne Singers outside Trump Tower in the snow; a highly energised Samba tune that nevertheless translates as ‘Whatever’; a French madrigal with two gossiping housewives weaving husbands and chickens into the same narrative; and a nine-minute medley of David Bowie’s legendary space songs.
....AND there'll be CAKE!   :)
